The Spanish Association of Parking and Garages (ASESGA) is the employers’ organization representing the sector dedicated to the construction and management of parking facilities and garages in Spain. It encompasses all possible types of parking structures, including all types of general parking—whether integrated into buildings, either above ground or underground, as well as those built beneath public roads.

ASESGA includes everything from large underground parking facilities—either under concession or private ownership, and encompassing construction, operation, or management—to smaller garages that originated from old coach houses. It also covers all variants of on-street parking and all forms of regulated surface parking management.

The Spanish Association of Parking and Garages (ASESGA) brings together 90% of the companies engaged in the construction and management of parking facilities. It includes both public and private companies, ranging from the largest concessionaires with extensive parking networks to individual garage owners across Spain.

This broad representation, which has always characterized the Association, has led ASESGA to become the only nationwide parking association and the official employers’ organization for the parking and garage sector in Spain, also incorporating the vast majority of Spain’s regional parking and garage associations, whether local or autonomous.

Due to his professional background as an architect specialized in underground parking, his 20 years of experience on ASESGA’s Board of Directors, and his current role as Chairman of ASESGA’s Communication, Content, and Events Committee, Ramon Llopart Ricart has been unanimously appointed by the ASESGA Board of Directors as ASESGA’s Communication Officer on LinkedIn.
