MBCB

COLLABORATOR PARTNER

The Low Carbon Mobility Cooperation Agreement for Brazil – MBCB is an initiative aimed at promoting the transition to low-carbon mobility in Brazil’s transportation sector, respecting technological neutrality and fostering neo-industrialization.

Our group stands out for bringing together the entire mobility chain – including the country’s leading automakers, companies and entities from the sugar-energy and biogas sectors, system manufacturers and auto parts industries, technology and engineering associations, aftermarket entities, and labor unions. Together, we form a major task force to reduce carbon emissions from both light and heavy vehicles, including cars, buses, trucks, agricultural machinery, and construction equipment.

Brazil has great potential to lead the energy transition in transportation by leveraging its natural resources and expertise in biofuels. To achieve this, it is essential to support the viable decarbonization of transportation in Brazil by utilizing all available low-carbon solutions. Brazil can reduce its CO² emissions in transportation by promoting bioelectric neo-industrialization, creating jobs and income, and strengthening its global competitiveness.
